Made out of glass, timber and aluminum, the residence has a spectacularly modern exterior makes way for a bright, elegant and open suite of interiors. The facade has many openings as the building has the relations with the outer space. Resting on a spacious 1,000 square meter plot, the minimalist structure features a courtyard and poolside that accentuates its modern line through simplicity.
The chosen materials are the strong point of this Turkish contemporary house design, as the BK residence boasts glass walls both on the ground floor and upstairs, capturing light in a way that gives warm house feelings.
Designed for a family with four members, the interior of the house is described by its architects: “the living room, dining room, kitchen and the entrance hall covers a central point of the design that opens to gallery space. Besides, all the functions are acting as a total space. If you are in the gallery void, you can see the all other spaces in all levels.”
