HTC goes PHUNK with the tattooed HTC One M8, the company latest Limited Edition
HTC has teamed up with Singapore art collective Phunk Studio to design a limited-edition version of the One (M8), proving once again that is one of the best phone makers at creating Limited Edition collector’s items that focus on unique design and features.
The latest in a long series of such products is a collaborative effort with Singapore-based design collective Phunk Studios, in which the group made a specially designed HTC One M8 with its own unique packaging. PHUNK Studio is an internationally acclaimed art and design collective in its 20th year of art design and creation. Previous PHUNK collaborations include Rolling Stone, NIKE, MTV, and Levi’s.
So, HTC has gone Phunk literally, the one-of-a-kind artwork emblazoned on the HTC One (M8)’s exterior making HTC’s cutting-edge metal unibody design pop. The tattoed HTC One M8 offers the full collection of features and technology that made the original HTC One (M8) a consumer favorite. This includes the new Duo Camera and HTC UltraPixel sensor that allows users to take breathtaking pictures with new depth dimensions, regardless of the amount of daylight. A five-inch screen, HTC BlinkFeed, and HTC Sense® 6 are also included.
Unfortunately, it will be difficult getting hold of one as only 64 of them were created (32 in gold, 32 in silver) and it doesn’t sound as if they’ll be available for purchase (at least not through traditional means). HTC has yet to divulge full details, but some tech publications have mentioned impending giveaways, so that might be your best bet of trying to snag the device.
