Street art is an area that we’ve covered in many posts on our website where we have featured various skilled artists from around the world and their spectacular urban art pieces that enlive and adorn places from the streets of big cities to hidden corners from obscure sites.

Today, thanks to Chen Yingjie (aka: Hua Tunan) we enter in an area from where we didn’t have the opportunity to feature anyone until now: Asia, more precisely China. Living in the coastal city of Foshan, Hua Tunan’s training in classical Chinese painting and illustration drives his unique style and helps him to make a name for himself in the world of street art.

The piece that caught our eye is called Splatter Ink Cheetah, a large-scale and incredibly detailed mural created by the Chinese artist using a splatter-painting technique which seems to be his signature style. A breathtaking, energy-filled artwork with colors and vibrancy that embodies the nature of the animal, the Splatter Ink Cheetah By Hua Tunan is one of the most beautiful street art works we’ve seen lately. Through the complexity and richness added by the splattering ink, the artist manages to render the wild and unpredictable spirit of his subject.
