We came across an interesting product today, a product that is somehow similar to our previous Glow In The Dark Paint. The product called , brings the stunning night skies from Alaska right into your room.

Produced by master planetarium designer Takayuki Ohira, this Homestar Aurora Alaska Night Sky Home Planetarium is part of the incredible bestselling series of Homestar star-gazing accessories by Sega Toys. This time, as the name suggests, the projections include breathtaking views from the Alaskan night sky in December.

With a majestic 10,000 stars to enjoy, this quality home optical planetarium features three projection units – Sunset, Stars or Aurora – plus three different healing sound melodies to make the relaxing experience complete.
The HomeStar is available in 2 colors: Black and Silver. The device that projects these marvelous images is shaped like an eyeball. The projector is a plastic globe-like module, approximately the size of a softball. It is attached to a chrome stand. A large iris-like main lens is on the front of the globe, along with a smaller lens located in the lower right quadrant. The HomeStar ships with 2 software disks for the Northern hemisphere. There is a Southern hemisphere disk set available separately. These disks don’t really have computer software on them; they are actually plastic disks that have 10,000 stars printed on them.
Even though it is produced by Sega Toys, this is definitely not a toy, but a source of relaxation. You can purchase it from Ebay for various prices, starting from 85-90 $.
