Just one look at the new Macco Motors creation, a customized Yamaha XS400 and you’ll know why it is called ‘Dark Bullet’. A badass looking bike that definitely deserves the name.

Built from an old school 1978 Yamaha XS400, Dark Bullet features a new front axle, 19-inch SR250 wheels on the front with Metzeler Lasertec tires, shorty pipes and a retuned engine outfitted with K&N air filters. The electric starting system was ditched and replaced with an old fashioned kick starter—the way starting a bike was meant to be.

The retro touches in terms of finishes make this engine completely: with all the brown leather grips, the electric circuit and new analogue speedo, mini turn signals and even the 6.5 inch headlight. And of course, matte black and raw steel, punctuated by gold pinstripes, the Macco Motors signature style.
