Kiev-based photographer Anna Remarchuk, is sending different types letters, raising this mailbox business to a whole new and beautiful level.

She got the creative idea after she found some old, vintage envelopes, that belonged to her great-grandfather, as well as receiving snowdrop flowers in the mail. She thought of combining them, giving birth to a beautiful series of photos by creating colorful compositions using beautiful blooms tucked inside of those envelopes. On her Instagram account, she said that “At the table there were those envelopes. I saw them together and decided to make a photo”. This was the start of her aptly-titled #envelope_series.

As you will see in the photo collection we gathered, she collected a variety of colorful flowers, attentively arranging them in the envelopes, like they are blooming straight from the envelopes. . She carefully considers the colors of the blooms and the envelopes’ paper, making the perfect combinations and then capturing the photo on her phone. These photos, though left open to interpretation, seem to encapsulate the moment a thoughtful, splendid gift is about to be given or received, in any given situation. Ultimately, Remarchuk hopes her pairings speak to her viewers, telling Instagram, “I want my followers to be able to understand my flowers’ message without any words.”

After she’s done creating, she gets them as gifts. It’s the perfect way to be original and spontaneous!
